Clothing & Daily Life
Underwear, trousers, exercise, cycling, travel and other practical fit issues.
Most everyday problems can be reduced through better garment construction, fabric, rise, support and sizing—not simply buying larger clothing.
Fit is three-dimensional
Waist size alone does not describe room through the front, rise or thigh. Two garments with the same label can fit very differently.
Support versus compression
The goal is secure, breathable support without pinching, numbness, excessive heat or constant adjustment.
Test for the activity
A garment that works at a desk may not work for running, cycling or travel. Evaluate movement, seams, moisture and recovery of the fabric.
